Cant play

After the update the game wants to "download content" as soon as it reaches 100% it says there was an error while downloading and the game restarts the download. Why cant the game content be included in the game download?

I got this game because i have 1000+ hours on steam for playing age of mythology and age of empires HD and these games advertised it. This game is a knock-off of Clash of Clans, the only people who should play this are those who have played clash of clans so much they have maxed out their towns in that game and cant do anymore. I think they just made this game hoping that some people would be dumb enough to buy ingame purchases. -.- Stupid freemium games

Im a long time player and fan of the desktop versions of age of empires (almost 20 years). This iOS version does it no justice at all and within the first five minutes of this game I was sitting around twiddling my fingers.

The house always wins this game is rigged.

This game nothing like the PC games with the same name and in all really is just a bad clash of clans rip off

For the past 3 - 4 weeks I havent been able to play the game on my iPad because its down for maintenance, the funny thing is that I dont get the same error on my iPhone which is way too small to play.

This has been my favorite game of all time and it is even more fun in this version, but buyer beware!! If you have a problem with the game dont expect ANY support from the developer or Microsoft. I have spent hours/days on the phone trying to correct a "link my accounts" problem. Age of Empires never even bothered to respond to my support request and Microsoft and XBox kept passing me to one support person or another, over and over again. Apple seemed to take the lead in this, in that they gave me the most support, but in the end, even though they admitted that it was a problem with their coding, they also did nothing. Bottom line, do not ever link your Xbox account with your Apple account. If you do, it is an irreversible process and you will lose anything that you have done.

Great game but the "build capacity (BC)" is a huge disappointment of this game. I wish I could build freely with no limitations. I like the game but cant spend too much time waiting to have more "BC".

Best game of the century in my opinion so much fun and pleasing to the eye

So I started with this game back when I had a lumia 520 and this was the closest to clash of clans I could get. That being said once I heard it was on the App Store I got super happy because to me this game is just as or even better than COC. I would 100% recommend this game.

The game is not allowing me in. I have spent hours trying to join. I would give it a 5 star rating if I could get in. But it was the last update that stopped me from joining the game. Plz fix the bug. :(☹️

If you want to actually sit and play a game for 20 minutes to an hour, do not get this game. You cannot play without paying money unless you want to play for a few minutes and then wait several hours, come back and play for a few minutes, and repeat. Everything, and I mean everything costs money. Want to build something? You need resources. Then when you have too many buildings being built you have to pay to finish them before you can build more, or wait as much as 3 days to wait for them to finish. Then many of the things you want to build cost so many resources that when youre trying to save up for them you just get looted by other players and can never get there. If you want to build an army, youll either have to wait for it to build it (mine currently takes 1 hour per battle) or pay cash for it to happen instantly. So you either wait for a long time between battles or you pay them. Ive played dozens and dozens of apps and have never ever seen one that required so many in-app purchases to just be able to have seamless play. When I want to play, I want to play. I dont want to have to come back every couple hours to play for a few minutes.

Finally able to play the game again after 2 weeks! This game is fun and addicting, and you can still do much without buying anything

Ive been waiting for the bug fix that would let me log on, but the newest update still malfunctions- same problem, different message- I know my phone has internet connection, thanks

This game just does not work. Last week it was unable to load content. After the update it is unable to connect to servers. The other annoying thing is that trying to register with Xbox fails with too many redirects.

This is an awesome game. Apple took a long time to issue a fix. Dont blame the game -- it was Apples process tgat caused the delay.

I was a huge fan of the original AOE. I was hoping to play something similar here. Stupid game wont even load correctly on my iPhone6. "Cannot connect to network" Dont make me waste my time. Dumb...total waste of time. Dont bother...POS.
